One of the biggest financial contributors to a marketable subdivision relies on how well the land was strategically divided and prepared. Often buyers disregard this critical part when choosing a property in a subdivision, but what they don’t realise is that it is one of the key factors that drives the value of the block they own.
So, choosing the ‘Berry Best’ in the industry to prepare a subdivision, is just as important as the buyer choosing the perfect plot to own!
The good thing is that at Berry Excavations we take our work seriously and we’ve been in the business of developing subdivisions for over two decades. We are very fortunate to be recognised for turning over the highest quality of work possible, so if you need it removed, demolished, dug, or subdivided we have the right equipment and operator to get the job done!
Having said that, when we take on a subdivision project it typically doesn’t involve just digging and removing obstructions. It includes the many aspects of planning, collaboration, and coordination with different departments and with a very large team of urban planners, engineers, surveyors, plumbers, electricians and more.
You may be thinking ‘I thought Berry Excavations was an excavation company?’. Well, we are! However, we also pride ourselves on taking on entire subdivision projects and seeing them through from start to finish. We start by clearing out obstructions such as trees, rocks, and debris and then we level the land as per the engineering specifications. From there, we start introducing the subdivisions infrastructure such as roads and utility trenches before bringing in our teams of highly recommended plumbers, electricians, surveyors, and telephone providers to finalise their areas of expertise, ready for the new home buyer to purchase.
Over the years we have had the pleasure of working on both commercial and residential subdivisions ranging in size from splitting a house block into two, up to numerous acreage allotments. Most recently worked on developing subdivisions in Sugarloaf, Paluma, Kookaburra Drive Estate (Stage 1) and Mountain View Road in Woodlark, among many others.
While planning a well-developed subdivision from scratch is for the faint hearted, it does provide such an enormous sense of achievement. It is the intricate details of a subdivision that pretty much determines how well people will live in the community. So, choosing the right contractor to develop and create the subdivision determines the lives of the people who will live, work and thrive in it.
